About Beth W. Vinson

Beth W. Vinson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up on a rolling farm in Franklin, North Carolina. She became a buff of the Vietnam Conflict through numerous interviews with veterans, and extensive research over several years. Her first manuscript, From Metal to Flesh, became the catalyst for To Hell and Beyond when Nathan Henry, a former Vietnam POW, read a section of the raw manuscript. Mr. Henry asked if Beth could write his story, and from that a friendship evolved and a tremendously moving account of life as a Prisoner of War in Vietnam.

Beth presently works as a Department of Defense contractor for the United States Navy in the role of Strategic Communications Manager. She is single and currently lives in Norfolk, Virginia.
